design better, together
What is HIVE?
HIVE was SAP's first ever UX event created for all SAP employees, not just designers. Speakers from within and outside of SAP presented interesting and diverse UX topics, and it was a great chance for everyone to get together and celebrate UX around the company. There were over 200 attendees who viewed sessions from 22 different speakers, and 9 demo pods that showcased more of what's happening around design at SAP. We envision HIVE growing into a forum where people can connect and be part of a community that thrives, creating better design by working together.

D.Fellows
The d.school is a creative leadership accelerator for early- and mid-career professionals with a specific challenge in their domains and the savvy to make it real. This marks the third year of the program in its new incarnation.

This year’s cohort is comprised of individuals working in a variety of ways to invent, disrupt, and innovate. They are participating in an immersive, 10-month experience to develop and launch their initiatives using the resources of the d.school, Stanford, and the Silicon Valley community.

It was really nice to have designers from the Bay Area (and San Diego) join in as well. The talks in the afternoon were interesting.

Fantastic event, wonderful use of space in building 8 and so many great speakers from a variety of backgrounds. Thanks for organizing the event... and opening up to all SAP Palo Alto employees.

Loved the collaboration, energy, decor, bringing fun to the workplace, a variety of interesting topics, and awesome (not cheap plastic) beer mugs and hats!

Was awesome! Beautifully designed, great presentations—is this really a SAP event?
—Attendee
Good to see we're breaking our "frankensoft" stigma and innovating customer-centric design. Are you guys hiring? :)
—Attendee
The fact that SAP has a design-oriented event is already a big move in the right direction.
